Housing for Offenders

London has 32 boroughs and the City of London each borough and the City have a local authority housing department who provide housing advice and options for homeless people (Homelessness Act 2002).

We recognise that our service users as well as our prison partners often find it difficult to obtain useful local borough housing information and produced a local guide containing Local Housing Allowance rates, local estate agents to supplement existing information given out by Councils housing departments.

The following housing options and advice packs are designed to help probation service users or prison partnership staff who are assisting sentenced prisoners being released from prison with sourcing accommodation.
