Sally Vowles – ReceptionistSally Vowles

Sally Vowles, Receptionist for Bexley and Bromley LDU has a vital role to play.

Sally welcomes every offender to their appointment and her job is much more than administration.

In 2013 she won an inspirational team member award.

“I see my job as just as important as anyone else in the building.

“I treat everyone fairly.  Everyone deserves a good service, We’re all here to deliver.”

Marcus - Offender Case StudyOffender Case Study – Marcus’ Story

“I firmly believe that everyone deserves a second chance.”

Marcus was first convicted at 16 for a drug related offence and six months later for possessing a blade.  His conviction in 2008 for a firearms offence marked a significant escalation, resulting in an 11 year prison sentence.

Through the help of his probation officer and London Community Rehabilitation Company’s Employer Engagement Team he was able to gain employment and put his past behind him.  Read Marcus’ full story.
