Sally Vowles – ReceptionistSally Vowles

Sally Vowles, Receptionist for Bexley and Bromley LDU has a vital role to play.

Sally welcomes every offender to their appointment and her job is much more than administration.

In 2013 she won an inspirational team member award.

“I see my job as just as important as anyone else in the building.

“I treat everyone fairly.  Everyone deserves a good service, We’re all here to deliver.”

 

There are other roles within the organisation where you can make a real difference to people’s lives as well as protecting communities.

Meet Brian - an offender case studyOffender Case Study – Brian’s Story

“Brian is a completely different person today from when we first met and that is all Brian’s credit.”

With a total of 45 convictions, Brian had been in prison five times and spent six years of his life behind bars.  Now, as a User Voice volunteer, Brian is helping other offenders positively engage with the service.  He is also a Volunteer Peer Mentor and volunteers for the Prison Advice and Care Trust.
