Employing anyone who has been convicted of offending is a big step, so we’re sure you will have many questions for our team.

However, the information below gives you more details on the benefits of employing ex-offenders.

 

Are there risks to employing ex-offenders?

There are risks to employing any potential staff member, not just ex-offenders.  All of our ex-offenders are assessed on the sort of risk they could pose to a company and then only matched to jobs that they are suitable for.  For example, someone convicted of fraud will not be referred to jobs in accounts departments.

 

Why would companies want ex-offenders from London Community Rehabilitation Company to work for them?

Ex-offenders can fill skills and labour shortages that exist in many industries in London.   They are trained and motivated to succeed, with retention rates comparing favourably to those of non-offenders.

Employing ex-offenders can also enhance a company’s reputation.  It gives them a real opportunity to change their life for the better, and put a stop to their offending behaviour.  Reducing re-offending has a significantly positive impact on the offender and the community.
