Our over-riding aim is to reduce reoffending and protect the public.
Our staff supervise around 25,000 offenders at any one time, across 620 square miles of the capital’s 33 boroughs covering a population of 8.6 million people.
Our role is to reduce reoffending and make London safer. Together with other criminal justice agencies, such as the Police, Prisons and Courts, we protect the public.
Our skilled and experienced staff work directly with offenders to:
“Brian is a completely different person today from when we first met and that is all Brian’s credit.”
With a total of 45 convictions, Brian had been in prison five times and spent six years of his life behind bars. Now, as a User Voice volunteer, Brian is helping other offenders positively engage with the service. He is also a Volunteer Peer Mentor and volunteers for the Prison Advice and Care Trust.
